NANHAI 3rd-Party Inspection
LR Certification
Lloyd's Register Group Limited (LR) is a technical and business services organization and a maritime classification society, wholly owned by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation, a UK charity dedicated to research and education in science and engineering. The organization dates to 1760. Its stated aims are to enhance the safety of life, property, and the environment, by helping its clients (including by validation, certification, and accreditation) to ensure the quality construction and operation of critical infrastructure.
CCS Certification
China Classification Society is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, established in 1956. The agency is China's non-profit-making ship technical inspection agency and the only professional institution engaged in ship classification inspection business in China. China Classification Society is one of the 10 official members of the International Association of Classification Societies. Headquartered in Beijing.
BV Certification
Bureau Veritas is a company specialized in the testing, inspection and certification founded in 1828. It operates in a variety of sectors, including Building & Infrastructure (27% of revenue), Agri-food & Commodities (23% of revenue), Marine & Offshore (7% of revenue), Industry (22% of revenue), Certification (7% of revenue) and Consumer Products (14% of revenue).
ABS Certification
The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) is an American maritime classification society established in 1862. Its stated mission to promote the security of life, property and the natural environment, primarily through the development and verification of standards for the design, construction and operational maintenance of marine and offshore assets.
DNV-GL Certification
DNV (formerly DNV GL) is an international accredited registrar and classification society headquartered in Høvik, Norway. The company currently has about 12,000 employees and 350 offices operating in more than 100 countries, and provides services for several industries including maritime, oil & gas, renewable energy, electrification, food & beverage and healthcare. DNV GL was created in 2013 as a result of a merger between two leading organizations in the field — Det Norske Veritas (Norway) and Germanischer Lloyd (Germany). In 2021, DNV-GL changed its name to DNV, while retaining its post-merger structure.
SGS Certification
SGS (formerly Société Générale de Surveillance (French for General Society of Surveillance) is a Swiss multinational company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland which provides inspection, verification, testing and certification services. It has more than 89,000 employees and operates over 2,600 offices and laboratories worldwide. It ranked on Forbes Global 2000 in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
NANHAI Inspection (Parts of NANHAI Inspection)
Rubber Material Inspection
Inner Rubber and Outer Rubber Inspection.
All manufacturing rubber material need to be inspected through NANHAI professional laboratory. All standard must comply (exceed) ISO17357 requirements. Complete rubber sample all item inspection, form a written report, then delivery to production department ,start to manufacture.
Dimension Inspection
Strictly follow the inspection working standards of fender size. Fender size should be completed under inflation pressure. The allowable tolerance of the size is as follows:
Length: +10%, -5% Tolerance & Diameter: +10%, -5% Tolerance
The diameter should be measured at least at two or more places near the middle section of fender, and the average value should be taken.
Outside Visual Inspection
Strictly follow the inspection working standards of fender outside visual:
First: Has a clean and smooth appearance
Second: No bubbles, delamination, scratches, bulges, tears, exposed lines, etc.
Air-Leakage Inspection
Strictly follow the inspection working standards of fender air-leakage, and the test shall confirm that there is no any air-leakage.
ISO17357 require that the air-leakage test shall be conducted on all fenders at initial pressure for more than 30 min, but NANHAI standard is 48 hours test, ensure that the fender does not have any deflation situation.
