Mrs Duan introduced that "After 3 months of careful design and manufacture,they produced 34 units super floating airbag with diameter 3-3.5 meters and length of 10-16 meters.Buoyancy Capacity of each airbag could reach more than 100 tons, but the weight of airbag only 1.5-2 tons.34 Units ultra-size airbags can provide over 3400 tons buoyancy for "National Abalone No.1"
"According to reports, in the field of marine engineering,large Structure Components in ocean oil field all lifted and installed by large floating cranes, while large bottom-mounted platforms "National Abalone No.1" rely on floating airbags in the complete process is the first time in China,which creating a precedent for installation projects without floating cranes and laying foundation for the subsequent construction of similar projects.It is understood that the airbag produced by Shandong Nanhai Airbag Engineering Co., Ltd. only took about a week to complete the installation.Compared with large floating cranes,the installation period is greatly shortened. In terms of design, not only the steel structure of the box reduced,and greatly reduces the weight of steel structure itself, reduces production costs and has a cost advantage in market competition.
