Nanhai inflatable fenders are made of multiple layers of strong tire cord, so they are extremely resistant to compression and cutting. The safety factor used in the fender design is based on recognized theories and has been proven by a large number of experiments. Long-term operating experience has proved its high safety and reliability, and hydrostatic tests have proved its moderate strength.

In addition, large fenders are equipped with safety valves to release internal air in the event of accidental overpressure.
